Prepare your coin

Do not clean, polish, wipe, or alter the coin before submission. Handle it by the edges and use clear, well-lit photographs.

After you submitYour VGRD reference number will appear on screen. Keep that number with the coin when preparing shipment.

Turnaround begins after your submission is received and checked in by Veritas and is an estimate, not a guarantee. Submission photographs are stored privately for Veritas grading review and recordkeeping.

Shipping & packagingAfter receiving your VGRD reference, place each raw coin in its own appropriately sized non-PVC/Mylar flip. Do not staple, tape, glue, clean, polish, or wipe the coin. Label the flip with your VGRD reference, cushion the coin securely inside a sturdy box, seal the package thoroughly, and keep your carrier tracking number. Ship to Veritas Grading Company, 3500 Oleander Dr., Unit C14, Wilmington, NC 28403. We strongly recommend purchasing carrier insurance for the full declared value while your package is in transit to Veritas. Do not place coin, bullion, numismatic, or other valuables-related wording on the outside of the package.

Submission agreementBy submitting, you confirm that the declared value is your good-faith estimate of current fair market value; authorize Veritas to move a coin to the appropriate service tier and charge the applicable difference if its value exceeds the selected tier; understand that grading opinions and turnaround times are estimates and are not guaranteed; and understand that you are responsible for secure packaging, inbound shipping, tracking, and insurance until Veritas receives and checks in the package. Return shipping and insurance are additional.
